The Alternative Investments Group (AIG), in conjunction with Triton Value Partners and the Goizueta Business School, is proud to present the first annual undergraduate Triton Venture Capital Case Competition. The competition will take place at Emory University on March 21st from 12:00pm until 5:00pm and on March 22nd from 9:00am until 12:00pm.
Unlike other student competitions, the Triton Venture Capital Case Competition intends to bring students into contact with real-world professionals and practitioners, offering a truly dynamic educational experience. To accomplish this goal, our competition involves three parties: student-case teams, venture-capitalist judges, and capital-seeking entrepreneurs. The student teams will compete by analyzing entrepreneurs’ businesses plans through presentations and due-diligence sessions in order to determine the best investment opportunity. Each team will then present their final decisions to the panel of venture capitalists that will determine the most accurate valuation and investment decision.
